Gachagua Catches Supporters Off Guard on Sunday as He Openly Admits Things Are Bad in DCP Camp

The Democracy for Citizens' Party Leader Rigathi Gachagua, the once self-proclaimed son of Mau Mau who had laid traps in various entries of the Mt Kenya region, has finally come out looking weak and subdued to submission, politically.

This is after Gachagua, as quoted by Sunday Nation, finally admitted that he has continued to lose critical allies to the government of President William Ruto.

According to Gachagua, those who stood beside him the day he was impeached are nowhere to be found.

In an encouragement message, Gachagua asked voters in various parts of Mt Kenya and Kenya at large to take note of those who are betraying his cause.

“It is true that I have been losing some of my foot soldiers. But this is nothing to worry about... The biggest problem in my camp is infiltration by spies, poaching by state machinery, and the party becoming too big for some joyriders who have to exit while making noise to justify their decamping,” Mr Gachagua said.

Already, there are unconfirmed reports that Manyatta MP Gitonga Mukunji and former UDA Party SG Cleophas Malala are set to rejoin the camp of President William Ruto.

Malala, even though he has not denied or confirmed the reports, is set to address the media tomorrow (Monday).
