SC Ahmednassir Abdullahi Reacts to MP Koimburi’s Claim That DCP Is a Party of Conmen

Juja Member of Parliament Hon. Koimburi has called on political aspirants to avoid DCP, accusing former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua of allegedly conning them.

Koimburi said Rigathi has no direction and has been receiving Ksh 5 million bribes from aspirants, which isn't okay.

"DCP belongs to con men. Don't join the party. Rigathi received Ksh 5 million from an aspirant planning to run for Juja parliamentary seat. I've supported Rigathi Gachagua, but he doesn't have any respect," Koimburi said.

The MP dismissed reports claiming he joined President William Ruto's party, saying he wants to work with the government to help his people.

SC Ahmednassir called on former Mukurwe-ini MP Kabando Wa Kabando to speak on the issue.

Meanwhile, Rigathi has called on Kenyans to support the United Opposition in the upcoming general elections, saying Mount Kenya people will vote as a bloc.

The allegations against Rigathi come amid heightened political activity as parties prepare for the elections.
