Kiambu Senator Kicked Out of Senate For Refusing to Apologize After Saying This About Dr. Oburu


A dramatic scene unfolded in the Senate after Kiambu Senator Karungo wa Thangwa was ejected.

  Claiming that ODM Party leader Dr. Oburu Oginga did not swallow a piece of cake handed to him by the Head of State.

Karungo also criticized President William Ruto's administration, alleging that it had lied to Kenyans about the Social Health Authority (SHA).

Speaking about the state of healthcare in the country, Senator Karungo wa Thangwa argued that no one was safe, citing the detention of mothers and children in hospitals as evidence.

 He further alleged that ODM leader Dr. Oburu Oginga had spat out a piece of cake given to him by the President, suggesting that this incident demonstrated the risks faced by everyone.

"SHA is not working," Senator Karungo wa Thangwa said. "Mothers are not safe, children are not safe. 

No one is safe, even the elderly are not safe. We saw the ODM party leader, Dr. Oburu Oginga, spitting out cake after taking a bite from the Head of State.

 It tells you that no one is safe in this country."
his remarks sparked an immediate reaction from fellow senators, who criticized him for failing to apologize. 

Nandi County Senator Kiprotich Cherargei urged Karungo to behave, noting that he was not present at the scene.
