Boda Boda Riders Stops Vehicle With Military Stickers That Fled Petrol Station Without Paying 9000
Residents of Mlolongo witnessed a dramatic incident today, thanks to the vigilance of boda boda riders, as reported by Sikika Road Safety.
A suspicious vehicle,was intercepted after allegedly fleeing an Ola petrol station without paying for fuel worth KSh 9,000.
Eyewitnesses say the vehicle sped off immediately after fueling, prompting nearby boda boda riders to spring into action.
The riders gave chase along the busy Mlolongo roads,trying to prevent the suspect from escaping.
The pursuit attracted the attention of local residents, who watched as the riders cornered the vehicle. The suspect was eventually stopped, and the vehicle immobilized.
Locals applauded the riders’ bravery, noting that such acts of courage are rare but essential in maintaining community safety.
Suspicion grew when the vehicle’s details were revealed. It reportedly had no official number plates, raising concerns about its legitimacy. The vehicle had only military sticker on it.
Further inspection revealed that the vehicle’s windows displayed different number plate.
Sikika Road Safety noted that such irregularities pose serious risks to public safety, as vehicles operating under false identities can evade law enforcement and cause accidents.
