Amount of Money IEBC Has Requested to Hold Emurua Dikirr By-Election After Death of MP Johana Nge’no

 

Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has requested Sh59.3 million from the government to facilitate the upcoming by-election in Emurua Dikirr Constituency following the death of area Member of Parliament Johana Ngeno.

Acting IEBC Chief Executive Officer Moses Sunkuli said the funds will be used to organize and manage the electoral process in the constituency, ensuring that residents are able to elect a new representative in the National Assembly.
