High Court Grants Raphael Tuju Temporary Relief in Karen Property Auction Dispute

 

Former Cabinet Secretary Raphael Tuju has received temporary relief after the High Court of Kenya allowed him and his company, Dari Limited, to file an appeal challenging a decision that permitted the auction of his properties in Karen.

The ruling offers Tuju and his company a chance to contest the earlier decision that had opened the door for the sale of the properties as part of efforts to recover a multi-billion shilling debt. 

The dispute has been ongoing for several years and involves large financial claims linked to loans and guarantees.

According to court documents, the contested properties are located in Karen, an upscale residential area known for its high-value homes and commercial properties.
