Laikipia County Women Representative is facing the biggest test of her political career as she eyes a second term in Parliament in 2027.

Kagiri rode on the UDA party wave that had swept across the region in 2022 to clinch the seat with a landslide. The exit of the then incumbent Catherine Waruguru from the contest gave her an easy victory.
