Dad Arrested For Turning Two Daughters his Wives Before Sleeping with them; Court Fines Him Sh200k

Kiambu County police have arrested a man accused of sexually abusing his two daughters and allegedly treating them as his wives without their mother’s knowledge. 

The suspect was presented in court and released on a Ksh. 200,000 bail, sparking widespread outrage among Kenyans.

The incident has ignited calls for the government to take decisive action against perpetrators of child abuse. 

Many citizens expressed shock and disappointment at the court’s decision to release the suspect, fearing that he may return to live with the victims and continue the abuse.

The Ministry of Health has previously warned about a rising number of child defilement cases across the country. 

Officials noted that the reported figures may not reflect the full scale of the problem, as many cases go unreported.

“Child defilement is a serious crime,” said a local child protection advocate.
