When they later started living together in Nairobi, she became the main provider, covering all household bills including rent and food while he stayed at home.
Determined to help him become productive, Grace gave him KSh 47,000 to start a business. However, the venture quickly failed, and he came back empty-handed.
Later, she gave him KSh 50,000 to open a wine shop, which also collapsed mysteriously.
The final blow came in 2021 when she entrusted him with KSh 300,000 for an investment he claimed would bring quick returns — only to discover it was a scam.
