David Kamau, a 35-year-old entrepreneur from Thika, made a decision that many people around him strongly opposed. 

While others chose safe and predictable paths, he decided to risk everything he had on a business idea that few believed in.

“People told me I was making a huge mistake,” David begins.

For years, David had been working in a stable job, earning a steady income and living a relatively comfortable life. 

But deep down, he felt a strong desire to build something of his own—something that would give him independence and long-term growth.

“I didn’t want to spend my life working for someone else,” he says.

During his free time, David developed an idea centered around agribusiness—specifically, value-added farming. 

Instead of just growing and selling raw produce, he wanted to process and package products for a wider market.

“It was different from what most people around me were doing,” he explains.

However, when he shared his idea with friends and family, the response was largely negative.

They warned him about the risks, questioned the market demand, and advised him to stick to his stable job. Some even laughed at the idea, saying it was too ambitious and unlikely to succeed.CONTINUE READING.....................................
